VENTA offers two different systems for the necessary cooling of the salad area. The passive cooling (STAGE_80_XS_COOL) takes place via cooling batteries, which are pre-conditioned for at least 12 hours at -18°C in the freezing room. These prepared batteries can then be placed under a glass plate in a metal tub and offer a temperature of 5°C on the table surface for a maximum of five hours. This system is also available in COOL table risers.
The second cooling option (STAGE_80_XS_COOL+HOT) is an electrically operated cooling system similar to a refrigerator. Channels inserted into an aluminium plate are filled with a cooling liquid at -5°C, thus guaranteeing permanent and constant cooling. A glass plate is glued to the aluminium plate to form a clean and hygienic surface.
In the STAGE_80_XS_BAIN-MARIE_COOL+HOT version, the same system is integrated in a stainless steel tub. The 105 mm deep tub contains invisible cooling channels both in the base and in the side walls, which enables uniform cooling in the entire tub area.
Both electrical systems also offer a second possibility of use. By switching to the “HOT” mode, the heating wires also installed in the aluminium plate and in the stainless steel tub are activated and heat the glass plate or the stainless steel tub to over 100°C, so that all types of containers (metal, glass, porcelain) can be set up for heating.
The “BAIN-MARIE” version can be filled with water and operated like a CHAFING-DISH with GN inserts.
STAGE_ETAGEREN table risers can be used for both salads and bread, providing additional height and making the buffet look more varied and appealing.
The use of the additional shelf space under the table top (SHELF) is also very practical. This area is used to provide plates and bowls, which is an advantage when space is limited in the buffet area.
