German brand Venta, specialist in modular buffet systems, has launched a new Frontshield accessory, in response to increased hygiene requirements.
The Frontshields are transparent plexiglass panels that are added to Venta tables to prevent guests from touching the food, dishes and the buffet surface.
Service staff behind the table puts the guest’s selection on a plate and serves the food through an opening in the panel.
Every Frontshield can be mounted with special clamps onto the table base frame. Smaller sideshields can also be mounted on the sides of the buffet tables for added safety.
The clamps are constructed from stainless steel with powder coating, according to the colour of the base frame.
